• Preparing and serving a variety of matcha and coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, according to company standards.

• Interact with customers in a warm, friendly, and engaging way, creating a welcoming hospitality experience.

• Maintaining organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and work area (staff room and back kitchen).

• Adhering to brand positioning and customer service protocol.

• Adhering to work routines and opening and closing protocols.

• Educating customers about different matcha and coffee varieties and flavor profiles.

• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and events.

• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Regularly clean coffee/matcha equipment and utensils.

• 6+ months of experience working as a barista.

• Experience working in cafés or other hospitality settings.

• Ability to dial in the espresso machine and grinder daily to ensure a high-quality product.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Ability to pour latte art.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus but not required.
